Help with translation
Hi there,
I'm working on a Czech translation of subtitles for Darkplace. I encoutered a little problem while translating the episode "Apes of Wrath" - lines of the apeloid to be specific.
Do the words "Yaven", "namato" and "quillababno" mean anything at all?
Thanks

Re: Help with translation
As in the things the ape-man says? No, they're nonsense words as far as I can tell. Typical of Noel Fielding, the man in the ape suit

Re: Help with translation
surely it's 'collomandoooah' if anything.
They have no meaning, they are merely the mutterings of an apeloid.

Re: Help with translation
Yes you'd translate that as something like "Magical sounding nonsense" "Or nonsensical incantations", I suppose.
