Easter Eggs!

Right, a couple have already been mentioned on the forums in another threads but just as a consolidation and a place to add more that you can find:

- Dancing Fool first noticed probably the best one and that is to fast forward past the colour bars in set up.

- darrenxyz noticed that you can hear a very quiet argument if you rank up your volume during the test footage of the fight scene.

- Lastly, personally I don't know how you get to this on a dvd player, I havent tried. But if you are playing the DVD in your computer, click on Liz Asher's face while in set up. What plays is all the music out of Darkplace, one bit straight after the other in a huge 38 minute long track.

So if anyone feels like ripping that and releasing the Darkplace soundtrack, would take a bit of time but would be nice emoticon

OK just uploaded it
I haven't named any of the tracks except for One Track Lover, as to be honest none of us know what they're called other than the episodes they appear in.

Probably it's a rather pointless quest, but I'm still wondering what most of that quiet argument is about!

I've made out a bit more of what's being said - it sounds like Dean and Garth for most of it, but there is also a third voice in there that doesn't sound like Todd. (Although there does sound like a brief argument at the start about doctors, and Garth appears to say, "The fact is, Todd's not a doctor.")

Later on, Garth says, "I know! I know! Trust me, I do." Dean replies, "Do you trust me?" Garth: "Frankly, I don't trust you." But I can't work out what he says next - it's something like "because if Arnold is still dead insane..." and possibly later, "No, he didn't die in bed!" (or "Venice")

Even further, Dean: "... had a heart attack." Garth: "Anyway, for the last time, Arnold didn't die in bed." (ditto)

The final bit has Garth saying, "You've got one more chance. One more chance then I will sack you." Dean: "You can't sack anyone." ???: "He's right." There's a bit of "I can"/"You can't" before "This is my project," etc. But there sounds like there's an extra (???) voice arguing in there with Dean and Garth!

It has occurred to me that, perhaps, this is supposed to be the argument where Garth and Dean fell out.

Re: Easter Eggs!

Hi guys;

I figured out how to access the Soundtrack on a regular DVD player. True you cannot click on Liz's face, but it can be accessed if you really know the ins an outs of a DVD player. May I just say that, due to the fact it is so well hidden and, to most people, unaccessible on a regular player, I suspect that at some point Matt and Richard asked for the Darkplace soundtrack to be released on CD, and channel 4 told them where to stick it. Hence its inclusion in the DVD.

[sign in to see URL] ever accessed the Easter Egg on the Star Wars Trilogy SE?? You have to type in the numeric code '1138' on your remote. And so this got me thinking. I switched on my chapter display (I'm using a PS2 BTW, and if I can get it on that, you can get it on ANY good DVD player.) First I went to 'One Track lover' (stab in the dark BTW), that came up as Title 20. so then I pressed 'Go to title' and then '21'. There was no title 21. So I then went to Title 1 (which is one of the Darkplace Moodscapes), Title 2 (which is episode 1)....HOWEVER instead of going through them all, I got this bizarre feeling to go back to the other end. So I typed in [sign in to see URL] BINGO!!!

To sum up: Using your DVD's 'Go to Title' feature, enter title number 19. Lo and behold, there is the Darkplace soundtrack.
