Maybe drop the 'Save' from the name - but there's definitely still a place for a fansite and fan community...
I'd just like to own up to being very excited. Since the series was originally on, I've seen an online version of ep. 1 and a few minutes of last week's repeat (video wasn't working...)

I agree with the guy above. Man to Man and the DVD release will almost certainly signal an increase in readership. Perhaps the next step would be to re-invent the site as a news, resources and articles site (it's virtually there allready).
Maybe it's worth looking at sites for shows with similar cult fan-bases and going forward from there.
For example, the link below shows the sheer detail some Red Dwarf fans go to...

Well the bidding war hasnt happened, but im sensing a resurgence in postings and interest in this site has! GREAT! Long live Dark Place! (and Save Darkplace!)
(Having the DVD posted to me from the mother land as im still overseas...cant wait!)
