I've booked tikets for the sixth of June, hope I can make it, and get there early enough to get in as I'll be travelling from the Isle Of Wight.

Hello, just thought I'd sign up as I went to the recording of Man to Man with Dean Lerner last night and enjoyed it V much.

We went with my sister and brother-in-law who maybe think my tastes are strange, but I convinced them to trek across London by giving a vague "Mighty Boosh" so your kids will think you're cool / "Alan Partridgesque" comment - and it worked.

They've never seen Dark Place, but may have sneaked a look at MB "to see what all the fuss is about".

Anyway, back to MTMWDL.
A very enjoyable evening, of chat and song.
The Alan Partridge comparison is just in format really (although I'm sure he did that "interrupt myself" line) no offence intended, but I enjoyed the charming engaging Dean Lerner, much more.

Also, I loved them folk songs that Matt Holness performed(however many times I heard his name last night, I cannot recall Merriman's surname - must be my age). Do you know, I reckon they could be played in London's trendy folk scene WITHOUT anyone seeing the joke?

The set was splendid, as we walked into the seats I felt like I was in the swankiest pad I'd ever been in. Nice response from the audience I think - were we supposed to do more Parky-type applauding ? I shall revise by watching 30 Years of Chat from ITV.

Very funny show, perhaps "they" will get this one and then seek out the Dark Place? I hope so. I am looking forward to more and of course seeing it on the television.

Any audience questions allowed to Dean himself? Or was it a Dean doing the asking unto others.

Right I saw the episode filmed on the 31st, and it was hillarious. Matthew Holness done a fantastic piss take of Uri Gellar, and the trailers that they recorded for the show alone had me in stitches.

The best part I thought was when they dipped into the archives, for the show "Deano's After Dark" which supposedly was recorded in the 70s/80s, where Matt Berry made an appearance and got a suitable "WAHEY" from the crowd. I promised thats all I'm giving away, just can't wait till it's on TV.
