American Version of Darkplace

Just for any American production companies before they get any ideas, DON'T do your own version of Darkplace. It would be like the attempts to remake Fawlty Towers or Red Dwarf.

If that's directed at me, I think that post should be removed.

I think he is one of those mentally challenged individuals that misunderstands DON'T as PLEASE DO... They are the leading cause of daterape.
Plus, I imagine he's probably 9 years old from his other posts.

I agree with that... His spelling is that of a 9 year old dweeb born and raised on the internet.

..at what point was anyone slating anyones work. There are several great american comedies so how about being less of a naive dicksplash and actually learn something about comedy, junior.

Re: American Version of Darkplace

They recently started airing Darkplace on the Sci-fi channel in the U.S--- and I'm sad to see it only has six episodes. It's one of the most hilarious shows I think I have ever seen! Is there any remote chance future episodes may come out? I've seen quite a few attempts to parody poor video production, and 80's T.V shows, but these guys seriously have talent.

I highly doubt this kind of humor could be reproduced in the U.S. But likely, if such a thing were produced, it would be unintentional humor, trying to pose as being unintentionally humorous.

I've shown some episodes to some friends, and family members--- and the general consensus is that it's pretty !@#$ hilarious. Why do we have to suffer with SouthPark episode #9993934, but have Darkplace airing on television at 1 A.M, four years after its first production, with only six episodes?
