I've seen maybe two sketches in it's entire run which have made me laugh. The fact that it's so popular and held up as some bastion of comedy is not only the funniest thing about it, but really, really worrying. Jesus, I just remembered when that wheelchair sketch got the 'best comedy sketch ever' title on that Ch4 thing. Matt Lucas SERIOUSLY needs to move on, his other work is much, much better. Rant over. (PS, yes, I know this is just my opinion and a lot of people love it, but, well, you're wrong. Ahahahahhaa. Ahem.)nondisclosed_email@example.com (The DancingFool)Fri, 19 May 2006 23:29:30 +0000 Re: Alice Lowehttps://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311192,from=rss#post311192https://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311192,from=rss#post311192quote:Colly said: has Little Britain jumped the shark with its collection of slightly rubbish new characters? She appears as one of Charlies mates, along with Dawn off the Office and that bird from Nighty Night. The video also includes David Walliams with a dodgy 'tache playing the evil Mexican, and Simon Pegg as a barman. Its ace.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Colly)Sat, 15 Jan 2005 01:07:37 +0000 Re: Alice Lowehttps://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311188,from=rss#post311188https://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311188,from=rss#post311188damn right, flippinchicken. damn right.nondisclosed_email@example.com (itbeggarsbelief)Sun, 07 Nov 2004 14:35:06 +0000 Re: Alice Lowehttps://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311187,from=rss#post311187https://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311187,from=rss#post311187I Agree! the BBC would have promoted it better than Channel 4, but then again, i just can't imagine it being shown on BBC. It would just seem strange!nondisclosed_email@example.com (flippinchicken)Sat, 06 Nov 2004 16:40:10 +0000 Re: Alice Lowehttps://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311186,from=rss#post311186https://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311186,from=rss#post311186i havn't seen little britain 2nd ep yet, i thought the 1st ep had it moments, but its like the 1st series, hit and miss! i havn't seen mylife in film 2nd ep either! but ill catch the repeat sometime im sure.. i think its got potential, i thought the same after darkplace ep 1, and that turned out to be comedy of the year! if only the bbc got darkplace and gave it the push it deserved!nondisclosed_email@example.com (rodd tivers)Thu, 28 Oct 2004 02:03:58 +0000 Re: Alice Lowehttps://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311185,from=rss#post311185https://bsavedarkplace.runboard.com/p311185,from=rss#post311185I'd meant to post the exact same thing, I thought it was pretty funny.
