Re: Other Comedies your in to?

I thought Nathan Barley was hilarious, glad of the repeats that were shown last week.

I'm a fan of mighty boosh, although I only saw a couple of episodes from series 1. The series 2 episode with the coconuts is a masterpeice: it starts off v. funny and by the end is incredibly creepy.

Peep show is also great, some of the lines/thoughts make me burst out laughing.

It sucks in Australia that they only show any decent comedies in the middle of the night... I only saw Darkplace because they were showing it after South Park (which I'm not a massive fan of anyway) and there was nothing else on emoticon

They showed Boosh here few years ago but him boxing a Kangaroo totally turned me off (thats so lame in Australia...) But in the last month I felt a really strong urge to watch something else with Julian Barrat (he steals every scene hes in in Darkplace). So now if I'm not watching Darkplace its Boosh - or something starring David Thewlis.

Hahaha they're playing Thomas the Tank at Howards funeral... emoticon

Little Britain has it's moments... I also used to really love Al Murrays show Time Gentlemen Please. Got to see him at the Melbourne Comedy Fetstival about 5 years ago. I bumped into him in the street a few days later and went totally fan girl... Bit embarrassing...

I love watching stand-up comedy on Paramount. Some of the acts are excellent.

I agree definetely with spazaza on Bill Bailey, fantastic and a QPR supporter as well, good on him.

I'm a stand up fan really and Dylan Moran's stuff is making me laugh the most at the moment, the old tour and the new tour. The joke about how to spot an Irishman abroad is one of the funniest things I have ever heard or seen. Probably because the "Irish hair" looks like every male member of my family.

Well I'm almost completely fed up with the first series's as its been repeated so many bloody times, so i guess prefer the newer stuff. But its a lot less original these days. The latest new one - the one with ricky gervais has been their worst yet.

Or maybe its just that I can't stand that man and cant get into his humour at all? i dunno
