If I've understood the way tv commissioning works, you generally have to tell the commissioning editor you want another series before they consider it!!! 
I mean, they've not commissioned a new series of Spaced or Father Ted either...

A second series would certainly have been better than Man To Man, which was mostly pretty lame, IMHO.

I'd have to disagree. I'd love another series of Man to Man, I have rarely seen something as funny as the Merriman Weir episode.

Imm actually quite suprised about Peep Shows low ratings -- that show is amazing. Im sure it would get more ratings, now that mitchell & webb are a household name now.
I cant imagine another series of darkplace, I guess of fear it might ruin it for me, like other shows, such as Bo Selecta were ruined by later series'.

They didn't recommission Father Ted... possibly because the actor who plays Father Ted didn't want to do it anymore, on account of him being dead.

Ha Ha The forum filtered words won't let say Dick Van Dyke! He was in "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", has to be one of the most inoffensive people ever.

It's interesting that Richard Ayoade has done better out of Channel 4 than Matthew Holness, with "The IT Crowd" and "Man to Man..". Maybe they just don't like Holness? B*stards.
